1964 Class Council hears about URI summer project

Uma Bhandaram, the intern whom the Class of 1964 supported with a stipend, presented her observations of her summer work in New Haven for Urban Resources Initiative (URI).  Her report was filled with many photos of the urban forestry she and her community volunteers did in New Haven.

Uma was born in India and graduated from UCLA before matriculating at Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies for her Master’s Degree. 

Chris Getman serves as an advisor to the URI board, and Mike Price is our Class liaison with Collen Murphy-Dunning at the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies who oversees this program.
