Artwork (for sale) by Per Wickstrom '64
We learned about Per's hobby at our 45th reunion, and asked if we could put some of his work on this site. See the images below of five prints for sale.
Per writes: "I started painting when I retired a couple of years ago as a cardiovascular surgeon. It is not great art but it is great fun. The prints are for sale for $100 a piece. That is a lot for a print. If I could order a thousand prints at a time they would be a lot cheaper. Usually three prints more than fills the demand. So the cost to me is about $50 each. All the money goes to a charity called CHUM which does the food shelf, the drop-in center for street people, the emergency shelter, the soup kitchen, etc., in my town. My wife and I are involved in this and think that it really does a good job. If some one wants a print they could email me and I'll send them one."
