Read about newsmakers in the Class of 1964
June 8, 2020
Classmates:
Last month, I shared with you the July-August issue of Class Notes that contained the volume of emails, texts, and posts from our 1964 classmates during the first 2-3 months of the COVID-19 crisis and social distancing.
Today, I call your attention to the number of new articles in Class News, the section on our Class Website where we post media stories that are too long for inclusion in Class Notes. As you can see below, 27 new articles have been posted in recent months. Many of these articles address the COVID-19 conditions. You can always search by classmate name on the Website, but here is a photographic listing of classmates (with links) who are featured in this latest batch of Class News.
Lastly, I ask you to send me an email about any activities in which you’ve been engaged that were prompted by social distancing. For example, you’ll see an article about me teaching mythology and Shakespeare to my granddaughters via Zoom. That never would have happened without the pandemic.
Cheers,
Tony Lavely
