The next Class of 1964 Zoom event will occur in ten days, on October 5 from 4:00pm to 5:30pm eastern time. The topic is: “Climate Crisis: Rethinking Required or Else!” Speakers will be our classmates Len Baker and Bob Archer. The program will be moderated by Joe Wishcamper.

Len Baker has been a partner of Silicon Valley’s oldest venture-capital firm since 1973. He was a Yale Trustee from 2000-2012. He has been an avid student of climate issues for the last 15 years and is a board member of the Environmental Defense Fund. He is currently an advisor to the Yale Carbon Containment Lab

Bob Archer managed the U.S. assistance for electricity sector reform and privatization and energy regulatory development in Eastern Europe and Eurasia for more than 20 years. He currently volunteers in support of national climate policy adoption with the Citizens' Climate Lobby.

The speakers will offer their views on strategies that have the greatest potential for effectively addressing the climate crisis.
