Bob Buchanan ’64 impressed by Judy Woodruff’s speech at GMU

On a recent classmate Zoom call, Bob Buchanan ’64 called attention to the commencement speech that Judy Woodruff delivered at George Mason University’s Schar School of Policy and Government, Judy articulated some keen insights to our current times.

Bob emailed: “Sharon and I had an hour with Judy Woodruff before she spoke to the Schar School graduates at George Mason University. She is so endearing you would never know she was the first in her family to graduate from college (Duke) and that she has a son who has severe medical disabilities.”
