1964 Class Council names new Council members

At the annual 1964 Class Council meeting conducted via Zoom on February 13, 2021, the Council voted unanimously to add three new Council Members who had been previously nominated. All 1964 Class Council members are listed here.

The three new members are:

• Tom Barnard ’64 lives in Savannah, GA. At Yale, Tom lived in Branford College and majored in Physics. He retired from Perkin-Elmer Corporation. Recently, Tom has been very active in the Climate Change Zoominars and wrote a compelling essay about the threat.


• Jerry Flannelly ’64 lives in Cambridge, MA. At Yale, Jerry lived in Timothy Dwight College and majored in Economics. His career has been in financial management. Recently, Jerry has hosted the Boston-area luncheons and Zoom calls.


• Ted Wagner ’64 lives in Ridgewood NY. At Yale, Ted lived in Timothy Dwight college and majored in English. His career has been in the law. He has been a regular at the Yale Club of NYC luncheons (now Zooms).

At the same meeting, the Council expressed gratitude to Paul Ruden ’64 who stepped down from the Council following his recent relocation to Washington D.C. During his term, Paul served the Council with insight and dedication, for which we are grateful.
