Sam Deloria ’64, a longtime advocate for Native American rights, called attention to a new book written by his brother Philip Deloria titled Playing Indian, published by Yale University Press in the Yale Historical Publications Series.

Sam wrote: “My brother got his doctorate from Yale, one of Howard Lamar's ‘boys,’ who are all over the country. He’s now a history professor at Harvard.”
