Stephen Greenblatt ’64 contributes to Hamnet by Maggie O’Farrell

Stephen Greenblatt, our 1964 classmate and esteemed historical literary scholar, contributed to the epigraph of the new book Hamnet by Maggie O’Farrell. In it, he points out that “Hamnet and Hamlet are in fact the same name.”  Stephen is writing a review for The New York Review of Books, which will be posted when it is published.
