Tom Jones ’64 writes about mosquitoes while social distancing
September 30, 2020

Tom Jones emailed: “I began writing The Mosquito in the early days of Covid-19 while I was trying to ‘isolate.’ As I explain in the book, I'm no entomologist, or even a scientist. But this idea got into my head and wouldn't let go. Since there was no expertise available (colleges, universities, and public libraries all closed), I relied on a couple of books, the Internet, and my curiosity. Unlike many projects, I had fun writing this.”
