Tony Lavely ’64 elected to Yale Alumni Fund Board of Directors

In September, Tony Lavely was elected to the Board of Directors of the Yale Alumni Fund. In addition to being our Class Secretary, Tony has been a YAF Class Agent for many years. He attended his first Board meeting on September 26 at The Yale Club of New York City. Tony said, “I was pleased to learn that Kai Lassen ’64 (pictured below) is also on the Board.”  Kai commented: “I’ve been on the Board for five years now and really enjoy it.”

During the first meeting, Tony joined the Board Committee on Technology whose goal is “to leverage technology to accomplish fundraising goals.”  He has since participated in their first conference call.

As everyone involved knows, the real work of the Yale Alumni Fund is done by Class Agents, and especially the Chair of Class Agents.  Our thanks go to our own Chair of Class Agents, Ward Wickwire (pictured at right).
