1964 classmates divided on petition for Yale Corporation candidates

A number of classmates have written to express their support for Victor Ashe ’67 as a petition candidate for the Yale Corporation.  A smaller number added support for a second petition candidate, Maggie Thomas ’15 Environment.  Other classmates oppose the petition process and therefore these candidates.

It is not our practice to take sides on issues like this or to have our Class website used for campaigning. Nevertheless, classmates should be aware that this is a current and contentious issue, and everyone is welcome to take a side.

Personally, I chose to remember the great work Len Baker did as a Successor Trustee on the Yale Corporation, 2000-2012.
