Jim Rogers spoke at a Skagen Funds conference on January 21, 2014. Skagen Funds is a Scandinavian mutual-fund company founded in 1993 and headquartered in Stavanger, Norway. The company manages three equity funds and five fixed-income funds. Skagen was recognized for investment excellence in 2006 by Global Investor Magazine. "Contrarians are used to being unloved. But in the last few years Skagen Funds has enjoyed spectacular growth to become Norway's biggest investment manager, with a 25% share of the market."
