Russell Sunshine ’64 expands his blog to guest entries by friends

Russell Sunshine is one of twenty-three 1964 classmate bloggers (see the list). His blog, Agile Aging: A Work in Progress, addresses the theme: “How can we practice mindful maturity, improving our self-awareness, empathy, and serenity?”

In May, he invited some friends, his wife Nancy, and one classmate to write guest entries on the blog with the theme: Lasting Legacies. Collectively, they explore “How youthful impacts — encounters and relationships, experiences and inspirations — can influence the adults we become and the seniors we remain.”

Russell thanked his guest bloggers: “For me, your moving recollections exceeded my expectations formed when first contemplating this roundtable conversation.”
