Nancy Upper presents to The Ticknor Society in Boston

On December 10, 2019, Nancy Upper (surviving spouse of Dennis Upper ’64) made a live presentation (remember when events were live?) to The Ticknor Society in Boston. The Ticknor Society is dedicated to the enjoyment, promotion, and support of books and book culture. Nancy Upper has long been a student of the ampersand. Here, she reviews historical texts about this idiosyncratic lexicon symbol.  It’s fascinating!
