1964 Class Council continues URI support

At their February 2018 meeting, the 1964 Class Council voted to continue financial support of the Urban Resources Initiative (URI). We have supported URI since 2009 by funding a summer intern each year.
Below is a presentation for the Class of 1964 by Cara Donovan (pictured at right), the URI intern whom the Class of 1964 supported with a stipend in 2017.
URI is a university partnership engaged in community forestry activities throughout New Haven. URI is a program of the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies as well as a nonprofit guided by a local board of directors.
Chris Getman '64 serves as an advisor to the URI board, and Mike Price '64 is our Class liaison with Collen Murphy-Dunning at the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, who oversees this program.
