William H. Hood, known at Yale as Bill, transferred to Yale from the University of Arizona in September 1961 and graduated with the Class of 1964. Some years afterward he transitioned to become Heather Hood Armstrong. She was the partner of Bruce Armstrong for 43 years, living in Tucson, AZ. She was employed as a court reporter.
