Jerrold Nunes

Jerrold Nunes matriculated with the Class of 1964 but left Yale before graduation to join the Army.

On April 29, 1964, SP4 Jerrold Nunes and five other crew members died in the crash of a UH-1 "Huey" helicopter on a routine training mission near the base dental clinic at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. They were members of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), known as the "Screaming Eagles."
